emlyon business school is based in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region, the largest industrial region in France situated at a major European crossroads. It was founded by and is affiliated to the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and plays an active role in its region. The Rhône-Alpes region is also one the premier regions in France in providing student bursaries.
Strong Academic Partnerships
Businesses today are increasingly looking for talented people who combine technical expertise and management skills. As part of its international dual diploma programme, emlyon business school has created several dual diplomas with leading institutions in the Rhône-Alpes region. As well as our Alliance with CENTRALE LYON, we partner with Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Université Lumière Lyon 2, Sciences Po and the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne. We are also very involved in the INELSE (Innovation Entrepreneurship Lyon Saint-Etienne) Student Entrepreneurship Centre.
emlyon business school aims to develop links between students, school pupils and young entrepreneurs in underprivileged areas of the city, through programmes such as MultiCampus Multidistrict Link and Entrepreneurs in the City.
Our regional partners also fund grants and bursaries for our students. These include the emlyon business school Entrepreneurs for the World; the CROUS bursary and the Jacques Lambert bursary. The Rhône-Alpes Regional Authority also helps finance international study trips.
