MOOC emlyon business school campus Casablanca : « Introduction to Doing Business in Africa »

After the success of its first MOOC, “Doing Business in Morocco”, emlyon business school’s Casablanca campus is launching its second MOOC “Introduction to Doing Business in Africa”on its e-learning platform emlyonX.

This free online course was designed by Youssef Lahlou, Expert@emlyon Casablanca campus, and Tawhid Chtioui, Professor and Dean of emlyon business school Africa. It aims to explain the current economic problems facing the African continent in a context of rapid change and growth in order to better understand the dynamics of Africa’s different regions and to identify business opportunities in Africa and with Africa, while also being able to assess risks and anticipate future developments.

The content, delivered entirely in English, draws on Youssef Lahlou's professional expertise of the African continent and on the testimonials and experience sharing of various African entrepreneurs and personalities. Youssef Lahlou is a graduate and Expert speaker at emlyon business school’s Casablanca campus.

Dr Tawhid Chtioui, Director of emlyon business school Africa, explains that “This MOOC, the only one of its kind in the world, allows us to continue to play a full role in improving the understanding of Africa's economic challenges. It is designed for managers and entrepreneurs wanting to develop their business in Africa and for any student wanting to identify the business potential and challenges of the 2nd most dynamic region in the world.

The “Introduction to Doing Business in Africa”MOOC is a free online course, and will run for10 weeks starting on 7 April 2018. It is a guide that future entrepreneurs or multinationals can use to discover the opportunities, challenges and key success factors of the African business market.

Certification

You can follow the MOOC on the emlyonX platform for free. Once you have completed the MOOC, it is also possible to obtain the online “Introduction to Doing Business in Africa” certificate awarded by emlyon business school. This certification costs €150. Training courses on the same subject are also offered for professionals and institutions on a more in-depth, face-to-face basis.
