From 23rd to 26th May, 2011, EMLYON Business School is hosting the 2011 Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum France. This is the first Junior Forum of a series of ten junior forums that will be organised throughout the world in 2011.
With the quintuple medal-holder paralympic in swimming David Smetanine as its patron, the Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum France gathers a hundred students from all backgrounds. In the program: conferences, roundtables and workshops on the topic of entrepreneurship, with many guests: entrepreneurs, founders of NGOs, personalities from the political and academic world. Among them, Pierre Moscovici, socialist deputy, Maria Nowak, international reference in economics, and Kah Walla, candidate in Cameroun's 2011presidential elections.
Four days, four topics: “Entrepreneurial Education”, “Developing Entrepreneurship at the Base of the Pyramid”, “Developing High-Growth and Innovative Companies”, “Developing More Entrepreneurship-Friendly Cities”. At the end of the debates, participating students will develop recommendations aimed at contributing to the creation of a better world thanks to entrepreneurial actions and the creation of wealth and social justice.
The Junior World Entrepreneurship Forums, initiated and coordinated from France, will also be organised in Ecuador, Argentina, Cameroon, Kenya, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, China, and India. A total of more than 5000 students will participate to these events devoted to entrepreneurship. Junior delegates of these ten countries will meet in Singapore on 2nd November to report their conclusions and recommendations to the members of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, first worldwide think-tank dedicated to entrepreneurship.
The Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum is the student variation of the World Entrepreneurship Forum. The Junior Forum is dedicated to young entrepreneurs and students passionate about entrepreneurship. It offers them a unique opportunity to meet main actors of the entrepreneurial world in order to think of a new model of society that supports the growth and the desire for entrepreneurship.
