EMLYON Business School welcomes the new cohort of students participating in the Summer Session 2009, which takes place from June 8 to July 17, 2009. The Summer Session is a 2- to 6-week programme mainly attended by students from our academic partner institutions. This programme is ideal for those that want to earn ECTS credits from our institution, but can stay only shortly in Lyon.
In line with tradition, this year's group of students once again join from all over the world: the American, Chinese, Japanese, Australian, Indian, Danish, Turkish, Slovak, Filipino, Belgium, Polish nationalities are all represented. This eclectic mix of culture and backgrounds will certainly make for interesting and exciting discussions in the class room!
During their stay in Lyon, the group will follow two modules: the first one familiarises them with the European Business Environment and the second one is dedicated to Entrepreneurship. After these two modules, students have the possibility to follow two additional weeks within the MSc in Management's framework if they want to.
The Summer Session is not “all about work and no play” though. In addition to academic knowledge, socio-cultural and professional objectives are an integral part of this programme. Students will visit different companies in the region, and they will attend several events organised by our school's Student Associations.
