Founded by EMLYON Business School and KPMG, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is held under the high patronage of Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France.
Based on the conviction that the entrepreneur is a creator of wealth and social justice, the World Entrepreneurship Forum is the first international think-tank assembly dedicated to entrepreneurship, as les Echos, French economic newspaper, described the Forum its first edition in 2008. More than 100 prominent public figures and foremost thinkers, among them entrepreneurs, NGO's founders, politicians and economic experts, selected in 40 countries, will gather to promote and foster the development of entrepreneurship across the globe.
For its 2nd edition, the World Entrepreneurship forum will feature 3 key moments:
The “Entrepreneur for The World” Award Ceremony will honor four international personalities (one entrepreneur, one social entrepreneur, one expert/educator, one politician) and acknowledge their distinguished entrepreneurial success and their commitment to society.
The annual “think-tank” assembly featuring100 selected official members, will focus on the central theme: “How can governments, at all levels, support the development of entrepreneurship?”.
Finally, after the success of the 1st edition, the World Entrepreneurship Forum will exclusively launch this year the
Forum Public Workshops, which will give you an exceptional opportunity to meet the think-tank members on Friday afternoon, November 20th.
