"Laboratoire EMLYON Recherche"
Research activities serve the core missions of EMLYON Faculty : to contribute to the development of relevant yet rigorous ideas, knowledge, and tools and techniques in the field of management; and to occupy the full position that management scholars ought to take in the intellectual and public debate, by bringing and sharing analyses and thoughts about contemporary issues (see the last Autumn 2008 Newsletter). The "Laboratoire EMLYON Recherche" is made up of four Institutes and Research Centers that support the research policy :
The French Institute on Corporate Governance (I.F.G.E),
The Entrepreneurship Research Centre (ERC),
The Organizations, Careers and New Elites Research Centre (OCE),
The CEntre for Financial Risk Analysis (CEFRA),
The PhD Programme in Management, entirely designed and funded by EMLYON Business School, offer an international top-level training to students envisioning their career in academia or leading consulting firms. The Foundation EMLYON "Entrepreneurs pour le Monde" and the endowed Chairs also contribute to support the research policy. Over the last decade, the quality of Faculty members' academic research has played a prominent role in the current favorable rankings of EMLYON nationally and internationally, and in its attractiveness as an enjoyable place for new Faculty to develop their career.
