EM LYON, with its faculty staff of 93 professors and 36 visiting professors, is one of the French Graduate Business Schools that is highly committed to research activities.

EM LYON can be found quoted in various rankings of European Graduate Business Schools where it is placed among the top in terms of publications in international academic reviews.

For a long time now, EM LYON has been actively involved in the education and training of lecturer/researchers through its participation in doctoral programmes with the Lyon universities.

Currently twenty doctoral candidates, supervised by EM LYON faculty, are trained in the profession of lecturer/researcher and hold positions as pedagogical and research assistants within the faculty.

The PhD in Management programme aims to push the commitment of EM LYON even further in doctoral training. It has the goal to develop future lecturer/researchers of an international quality by offering them the possibility to create and transmit knowledge and know-how in entrepreneurial management.

The professorial body involved in this programme is a guarantee of the high standard of this training programme, where their publications in the fields of entrepreneurship, of innovative organisation dynamics, international management and strategic change refer to topical issues on a European and world scale.
