Smartour: 6 students from emlyon business school head off on a European discovery of innovations in mobility!
Smartour is an immersive experience for students interested in the challenges facing tomorrow’s cities. The aim is to immerse these students in several urban eco-systems for 8 days (from 27 October to 4 November). As such, they will visit Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich: 3 European cities designing tomorrow’s mobility levers.
For this first edition, 5 students trained in design thinking and prototyping will be immersed in an experience related to mobility.The expedition should answer some of the strategic issues faced by one of the project’s partners: Renault.The team will take part in conferences, visit selected sites, and meet professionals working in the mobility sector to inspire their creativity.
Guided by a facilitator from the student association SmartUp, the team will also take part in a week-long challenge inspired by innovative methodologies (Design Thinking, Design Sprint). The goal: to rethink, present and prototype one or several solutions related to a strategic Renault issue.
#AMSTERDAM. What better destination to kick off the tour than Amsterdam? With its canals and unique architecture, Amsterdam isthestandard in green mobility, thanks to its 600,000 bikes (for 740,000 inhabitants)!
#BERLIN. After peaceful Amsterdam, the students will head to dynamic Berlin, where underground culture and a disruptive spirit reign! Berlin will shake up their way of thinking, and offer a magnificent architectural setting with monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building, and naturally the city’s famous wall.
#MUNICH. The final stop on the tour will be the Bavarian capital, which is home to the headquarters of Deutsche Qualität flagship, BMW.
