Bart LARIVIERE

Expert

Bart Larivière is Associate Professor of Marketing at KU Leuven University and Adjunct Professor at emlyon Business School. He is the current co-chair of the Service Special Interest Group (SERVSIG) of the American Marketing Association (AMA). His teaching interests include service marketing, digital marketing and data analytics, and his research focuses on the blend of customers, employees and technology in service encounters. He received the AMA’s Emerging Scholar Award for significant contributions to the services discipline and won several best paper awards, including the Finalist Best Paper Award for the Journal of Service Research (twice), the Best Paper Award for the Journal of Service Management (twice), the Best Practitioner Paper Presentation Award at the Frontiers in Service Conference (three times). He also received the Best PhD Tutor Award from Ghent University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
