Bio

I am an associate professor of entrepreneurship at emlyon and a Visiting Fellow at Imperial College Business School in London.
I hold a PhD from Imperial College Business School where my dissertation won best PhD (2009).
My research interests centre on new venture creation, social network tie creation, and family business. Recent work has focused on how new entrepreneurs can establish the network relations they need to launch new entrepreneurial projects, and on extreme behaviour in family business. Drawing on qualitative research methods I have studied the independent television production sector in the UK, and the staging of the 2012 Olympic Games. I can be contacted on my email address.
