Research Center Activities
Beyond the production of articles and books in the fields of finance, insurance and risk management, the CEFRA organizes seminars and workshops.
The seminars of CEFRA occur on a semi-weekly to weekly basis, most often between October and March. Lasting approximately one hour, they allow external colleagues, but also internal and affiliated members, to present their latest research results. Internal seminars are not limited to the fields of quantitative finance, insurance or risk management. Relevant contributions in corporate finance, quantitative accounting, or operations research, to cite only these fields, are welcome.Read More
The CEFRA workshops are the occasion to concentrate on a particular sub-field of interest. Typically four to five papers are presented during one day by colleagues from international academic institutions. On certain specific years, workshops can be replaced by other academic events. For instance, in year 2010, the CEFRA organized the first inter-business schools seminar in finance ; and in year 2013, the CEFRA organized the conference of the French finance association.Read More
