CBT is a research center which focuses on Cognitions, Behaviors and Transformations. It brings together researchers in organizational behavior, behavioral economics and management control with an interest in individual and collective behaviors. The center was created in September 2016 at emlyon business school, with the objective of promoting research excellence.

AIM Research Center on Artificial Intelligence in Value Creation

The AIM Research Center on Artificial Intelligence in Value Creation aims to investigate how AI and related emerging technologies affect value creation in human interactions and consumer behavior, and the new way companies create and capture value doing business and shaping business ecosystems. To achieve this goal we are building an interdisciplinary community of researchers who conduct rigorous empirical research. exploring emerging questions about how Artificial Intelligence affects the world today and tomorrow.

L'Institut Français de Gouvernement des Entreprises (I.F.G.E.)

Acteur majeur de la recherche sur la gouvernance et la dirigeance en France, l’Institut Français de Gouvernement des Entreprises (I.F.G.E.) examine la gouvernance sous l’angle original de l’étude de la légitimité politique de l’entrepreneur. Quatre thèmes de recherche prioritaires font l’objet de travaux et de publications ciblés : cadres dirigeants vs. dirigeants ; actionnaires vs. investisseurs ; capital financier vs. capital humain ; business vs. société.

Le Centre de Recherche en Entrepreneuriat examine cinq thèmes prioritaires : l’étude des processus de création d’activités innovantes ; l’entrepreneuriat organisationnel ; l’enseignement et l’évaluation de l’efficacité des programmes d’enseignement en entrepreneuriat ; l’évaluation des politiques publiques en matière de création et reprise d’entreprise ; la dynamique des start-ups de forte croissance.

Lifestyle Research Center at emlyon business school brings together excellence and researchers passionate for advancing lifestyle-related research and knowledge. The main focus of our research is to examine the ongoing “ruptures” and changes in lifestyle phenomena that impact market formation and evolution as well as branding.

Finance Research Center

The centre aims to create and to disseminate research on these two themes, and to foster the communication between researchers, policy makers and practitioners. It was created also with the purpose to involve a larger faculty group than the previous research center in Entrepreneurial Finance and to broaden its scope. The aim of the FRC is to build a research community that includes emlyon faculty as well as scholars currently belonging to other academic institutions (as for example the University of Lyon) working on these themes.

The emlyon business school Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Management (AIM), directed by Renaud Champion, is a multifaceted initiative focused on understanding the opportunities and implications of artificial intelligence for the management of organizations, industries, and business ecosystems. Two research centers complete this Institute : the “Artificial Intelligence in Value Creation” directed by Margherita Pagani and the AIM “Research Center for work and Organization” directed by Ruthanne Huising.

STORM is the research center at emlyon business school which deals with strategy and organization. Launched in September 2016, it brings together researchers from emlyon and beyond with a passion for high quality research in strategy and organization. STORM stands for (more or less) STrategy, ORganization, and Management (or Mates, or whatever cool word starting with M you can think of).

QUANT

QUANT research center is a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to quantitative research in management. Research at QUANT is concerned with analyzing, modelling, simulating and optimizing management systems with quantitative methods, whether they come from an industrial environment, financial markets, information technology or networks. It was created also with the purpose to involve a larger quantitively oriented faculty group than the previous emlyon research centers of the Data Institute and the CEnter for Financial Risks Analysis.
