Meet Sofia, future student of the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing

• Tell us a bit about your background.

I'm 22 years old and I’m Italian. I previously graduated in communication from Bologna University with top grades. My studies and professional experiences abroad have enabled me to develop new skills and adaptability working in an international environment. A very significant experience in my life has been to be part of an Erasmus exchange in Paris in 2016. During this year in Paris, I was able to pursue my great passion for the luxury and fashion worlds as I completed an internship at Condè Nast International and worked in the marketing department of Vogue Italy.

• Why did you decide to join the program?

I have decided to join the MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing because emlyon business school fulfills all my requirements and enables me to study in the most important and strategic cities in the world. The program also gives a great overview of the luxury world which is exactly what I have been looking for.

• What do you expect from the program?

I would like to get more opportunities to study in an international environment with people who have the same interests as me. I also would like to develop my skills by learning with professionals. The semesters in NYC and Shanghai will also give me a chance to discover different cultures and get a global view of the industry from east to west.
